The seventh batch of the GTB 1906 class was upgraded to four torpedo launchers, which also sported the more powerful 50cm G7 torpedoes. The two extra tubes were mounted near the bow and are able to fire towards the broadside as well as straight ahead. All were built on the Vulcan shipyard in Stettin.
