The fifth and last ship of the Kaiser class, named after the Prince Regent of Bavaria, showed some differences to her four sisters. She received different main gun mounts which allowed her to elevate her main battery further, giving her a greater range. This upgrade reduced the top speed by one knot and also lessened the capacity of her coal bunkers.
